Started design-life at Which? as a FE Dev.
Eventually wound up at Top10.com where we grew a broadband and mobile phone comparison tool from nothing to a multi-award winning (“Best Technology & Telecoms Publisher” A4U & PMA Awards) market-leading site.
We sell Top10 to uSwitch where I ascended the design ranks to creatively lead the business through a product-wide brand repositioning, site restructure and redesign.
Stepped off the full-time train to pursue the freelance life.
Joined forces with a few friends to start SPOTTER - a fit-tech startup.
When im not designing I’m making music or hiking.
"Lewis is very innovative in term of his design approach. He is a highly creative guy and multi-disciplined designer. Instrumental in designing for major product enhancements, impact-driven new IPOs and very comfortable breaking big ideas down into triageable parts.
Popular in the team, has an enormous sense of fun. Fits in with everyone really well. Huge hard worker particularly when he’s inspired by someone."
" He’s a brilliant designer, really creative and skilled at what he does. Great communicator, good at getting a mix of what’s right across design and commercial.
Comfortable balancing business and user problems. Managed people extremely well, leadership chats were great. Great at collaborating across cross-functional squads. He went from being a solo designer to running a 5 person design team at uSwitch."
“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Lewis; he’s never shy to share ideas for process improvements and is very kind and open.
Lewis is an expert in Figma and quickly filtered through the noise to define a lean approach to our design system. A very proactive person and an asset to teams.”
